Their design features housing with an additional third socket on the suction side for pre-inlet cooling. The series GM …Sm comes in six sizes with a lube oil supply for splash lubrication and has an intake volume flow of up to 16.000 m³/h.

On the other hand, the series GM …Lm comes in three sizes with central oil circulating lubrication and has an intake volume flow of up to 50.000 m³/h for absolute pressure at an inlet of approximately 400 mbar against atmosphere.

In both series, an oil slinger seals the conveying chamber with four-piston ring labyrinth seals containing a central vent chamber. Double radial seal rings with grease barriers seal the drive shaft.
